Jaipur to Khatushyam Tour By Taxi

Krishna declared that devotees of Barbarika- son of Ghatotkacha- would be blessed just by pronouncing his name from their heart. There is a holy pond near the temple and it is believed that a dip in this pond cures many ailments and brings good health.
Khatu Shyam ji is situated in the Sikar Dist 17 kms. from Ringas & 63 km. from Jaipur on Jaipur-Sikar highway in state of Rajasthan, India. Shyamji's temple, constructed of the famous Makrana marble, located in the middle of the town Khatu Shyam. Baba is worshiped as God Sri Krishna due to boon when Barbareek scarified his head. Lord Krishna delighted with Barbareek's great sacrifice (In Hindi-Seesh Daan), granted him the boon that when Kaliyug come downs, he would be worshipped by the name of Shyam in his form. Barbarik was son of Ghatothkatch & grand son of Pandav Bhim. Khatushyamji's childhood name was Barbarik.
He was also called by other names given by Shri Krishna- Sheesh KeDaani, Haare Ka Sahara, Teen Baan Dhaari, Lakha-datari,Leela ke Aswaar, Khatu Naresh, Kalyug ke Avtaari, Shyam Pyarey. It is a holy place, thousands of pilgrimage visit every day.
